WHO IS JESUS?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God in human form. He was born of this Earth for a purpose: to die for our sins and provide a promise of eternal life in Heaven. Jesus was sinless and knew his purpose was to bring hope and provide a new way of life. If we follow his commandments and believe in him, we will not perish but have eternal life in Heaven.
Jesus was mocked throughout his years on Earth. Those who lacked faith or belief in him tried everything in their power to erase his legacy. This lead to his eventual crucifixion on a cross, where he was nailed by his hands and feet, and a crown of thorns forced onto his head. To ensure his death, a sword was pierced through his side. JESUS DIED FOR YOU!
While on Earth, Jesus had free will like all humans. His will was to die for our sins. A sin is defined as an act against God’s law. Jesus knew his purpose and knew the pain and suffering he had to endure and still chose to die for us because the reward was much bigger than himself. He loves us so much that he chose to die so that through him we are able to come to God the Father, to repent of our sins. Through our faith and belief in Jesus, we are loved by God the Father. It is because of our faith and obedience that we are granted eternal life. Death is not the end, only the beginning!
JESUS IS LORD
Do you find yourself struggling with situations that sometimes seem like they will never end? Have you ever thought about giving up? How many times have you found yourself in these situations and thought you can’t handle anymore? Whether that be financial burdens, loss of a family member, struggles with your relationships, or thoughts of evening ending your life, these are all barriers that Satan brings upon you to keep you away from Jesus. We are all created in the image of God and our spirit before entering a world of sin, knew God. But as we walk the path of this world, which can often be a dark place, we are being held by the power of Satan. But there is a solution! There is a way to end the suffering, find healing and peace. It may seem trivial but if you are at this point in your life, what more do you have to lose?
Confessing with your mouth and believing in your heart that Jesus is Lord of your life, will help this pain go away and ensure you are going to Heaven when you die. Allowing for him to be a part of you and your life will mean his peace, love, joy and healing can work in your daily life.
IS THAT ALL IT TAKES TO GET INTO HEAVEN?
Not quite; we must also follow his commandments and teachings as stated in the Biblical books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. This is quite easy to do, as the Holy Spirit will help guide and keep you on track in following these teachings.
Don’t think about Jesus or God in the way you may have been raised, or the hate condemnation messages you may hear from others. Most of them are lies and are not coming from Jesus. It is not challenging to walk the path of Jesus as some may make it out to be. You don’t have to go to church every Sunday to still have a relationship with Jesus. But giving Jesus a try doesn’t cost a thing and you have an eternity to gain.
“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.”

When you are ready, say this prayer aloud to accept Jesus into your life.
“Heavenly Father, thank you for your son, Jesus. Thank you Jesus for dying for me, and thank you for shedding your blood for me. Please forgive me of my sins. Today, I confess that Jesus is my Lord and savior. From this day forward, I turn my back on the world and will follow in your path, Lord Jesus. Amen”
